About
AB PRODUCTIONS began in 2006 with the production of "Part Time", a short film from producers Jake Hull and Seth Requenez. During that same year, Hull worked an internship at Snitily Carr Advertising, where he met advertising producer and future partner Rhett McClure.
In October of 2007, Rhett was asked to provide lighting design for their next short film entitled "The Harris House". Harris House ended up winning first place at the annual Halloween short film competition at the University of Nebraska’s Cinema 16 student film club.
Fast forward to May 2008 and you stop at AB Productions first feature film, "GRAPES: The Story of an Aspiring Serial Killer". Clocking in at a lean 71 minutes, GRAPES ended up screening at the 2009 Omaha Film Festival and winning Best Dramedy at the Bare Bones International Film Festival in Muskogee Oklahoma.
In 2010, AB Productions became a fully functioning LLC. The company is producing a new feature film entitled "Trunk'd", and will be entering film festivals and seeking distribution for theatrical and electronic release.
